Nigeria

I am a Consultant Paediatrician and clinical researcher at the University of Ibadan and the University College Hospital, Ibadan, where I have provided specialist care in the Children’s Emergency Unit since 2007 and have held a research-focused academic appointment since 2008. My training in Epidemiology and Clinical Trials at the University of Ibadan and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine underpins my work in the clinical epidemiology of childhood diseases, particularly malaria and other infectious diseases, and in the evaluation of health interventions. I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and remain committed to expanding research that advances child health, paediatric epidemiology and clinical trials in Nigeria and similar settings.
